In "DAD'S HAT", I wanted to portray a scene viewed by so many of us over the years. With his father's hat wobbling around on his head, riding low over his eyes, this young man was a team roper, just like Dad. Actually, I'm sure it goes back to the earliest of times when little boys put on Dad's hat and (just for a little while in their vast imagination) could do everything Dad could do.
