As the son of a college classmate of mine who (as well as her husband) is a terrific roper, there's no way this young man wasn't going to be dragging a rope around as soon as he could walk. As of now, he's showing some real talent for the sport. To quote an old friend: "The only way genes like that will hurt you is if you don't have 'em."
